Meet Willow
Everyone, meet Willow. Willow is the cutest little golden retriever pup that loves sticks, wind, playing in the sand, and Mom and Dad. These puppy portraits on the beach made my heart sing!
How we all met
Fun fact: I met Kaylee and Ross at one of our favorite breweries. I was enjoying the afternoon with my family, and as soon as I saw them, I knew I wanted to have them in front of my camera. Does that sound weird? Willow was maybe 10 weeks old, and Kaylee and Ross looked so full of joy. Plus they were at my favorite brewery! Since joy (and puppies) are what I set out to capture, I did something I’ve never done: I wrote down my information on receipt paper and walked right up to their table and introduced myself. When Kaylee called me a few weeks later, I was thrilled! Sometimes, it really feels like things happen for a reason.
Puppy portraits on the beach
Kaylee and Ross wanted their portraits on the beach, and you know how I feel about the beach. About ten minutes into our session, I felt like I was hanging out with dear friends. Kaylee and Ross have a chemistry and humor that just makes you smile. I could see how much they cared for each other and their little puppy. These two were quick to laugh, and quick to love on their puppy, Willow. You two– it was my absolute honor to capture your family and puppy portraits!
