Beautiful Old Town
I don’t even know where to start. Yesterday evening, I met Aime and Alex in for their Old Town Alexandria engagement photos to celebrate their engagement. We were concerned about rain, but I think yesterday was the most beautiful Spring day we have had this year! The blooms and the glow of the evening sun were breathtaking. Aime and Alex showed up looking absolutely stunning. Even then, their outfits didn’t compare to how fun and relaxed they were in front of my camera! I basically gave them a walking tour of Old Town Alexandria, one of my favorite places in the whole world. It was great because as we walked from place to place, I learned more about them, their careers, their goals, and even their (hopefully) future kitty if the adoption comes through! I am still wishing you guys luck!
Since it was a Saturday evening, people packed themselves into King Street. Who wouldn’t want to be in Old Town on a beautiful Spring Saturday evening? When we met up, there was literally a photographer on every corner! I guess we weren’t the only ones with the idea of capturing beautiful Old Town Alexandria engagement photos. We were able to snag some portraits in a couple of my favorite spots, but then we ventured out into Old Town where there were far less people. I love how every single corner is unique but has the same charm. It was really special to share such a beautiful evening with these two. I felt like I was hanging out with old friends, which may be strange to say when you first meet two people– but they were so fun!

Due to COVID, they’ve rescheduled their wedding, which means I won’t get to see these two again for a year. Sad face. I absolutely cannot wait for what I know is going to be such a joy filled wedding day. Cheers to you both, Aime and Alex!
