MEET brigitte

Imagine the perfect fall day. There is not a cloud is in the sky and the fall colors are in full swing. Well, that was yesterday at King Family Vineyards! However, we were not the only ones with the brilliant idea to spend Saturday at a vineyard in Charlottesville. The property was crowded with people! We snuck away to outskirts of the property so that you wouldn’t be able to tell from their portraits the number of people that were there. Instead, it looks exactly how it felt: romantic, and ever beautiful.

Finding the location

While I don’t live local to Charlottesville, I knew King Family was the spot for these two. When Holly and Tyler said they wanted to capture Fall and rolling hills for their engagement session, my mind immediately went to Charlottesville. King Family Vineyards is one of my favorite vineyards in the area, and with the stunning rolling hills in the distance, I knew it would be the perfect location for them! Turns out I was right! I mean, look at these amazing portraits of the two of them together.

Capturing their engagement photos

Holly and Tyler are couple goals. As soon as I met Holly and Tyler, I could tell they were genuinely kind and fun people. This entire engagement session was SO easy and I felt like I was capturing them in their natural state! Tyler had exactly two requests. He wanted a picture in his cowboy boots, and he wanted a picture in his hat. The cowboy boots, in my personal option, were a hit! Easy day! While I love every single one of their engagement portraits, the boots made for some of my favorites.

I seriously cannot wait to spend the entire day with them next year on their wedding day! The engagement session is such a special process where we can get to know each other before the big day, and getting to know these two was the highlight of my week. Holly and Tyler, I can’t wait to capture how you feel on your wedding day!
