Fall Mini Portrait Sessions | Virginia Beach, VA

Fall family portraits were a success! This year I hosted Fall Mini Portrait Sessions at the Kellam Estate in Virginia Beach, Virginia for the very first time. I had SO much fun! Fall family mini portrait sessions will now be an annual occurrence! I held the mini sessions over two days to provide the opportunity to serve as many families as possible.

We were off to a bit of a rocky start the first Sunday. Unfortunately, we had to reschedule due to rain. Lesson learned: weather in Virginia is crazy when you schedule family portraits, so build in a rescheduling date! The following Sunday also had a rainy forecast all day, but we made the most of what turned out to be a beautiful day!

I want to thank all of the families that stuck with me through the weather for their Fall family portraits! Meeting everyone was so special, and I hope I captured special memories for you and your family. This year has been crazy! What better way to remember the good things and this season of your life?

A big thank you to the Kellam Estate in Virginia Beach, Virginia as well! Thank you for sharing your beautiful venue for these fall family portraits! Below are a few of my favorites from each mini session. Some families are not pictured out of their request for privacy.

Fall Mini Previews

When you show up wearing beautiful fall oranges and taupe colors, you know it’s going to look great! I absolutely loved how much the older siblings doted on the youngest. This family was absolutely precious and is using these images to remember their time living in Virginia– how special!
This little family showed up perfectly coordinating in all of the fall colors! They had the cutest little girls who came ready to flaunt their beautiful dresses and run around.
I had so much fun!
These three kids were so relaxed and some of the most laid back and well behaved children I have ever met!
Malory inquired with the idea of a mother and daughter session, and I LOVED the idea! I had so much fun capturing their relationship.
If you could have been there to see the smiles these little ones gave… you would never miss it again! These two were so independent. Capturing the moments between them became my goal!
When I get excited, my voice gets so high it’s like I start singing. It might be weird, but this family had me singing because I was getting so excited capturing these absolutely perfect portraits!
Once again, the fall color coordination blew me away in this family! They came ready to have a great time despite the rain. 🙂
