National Cathedral Bishop’s Garden | Washington D.C. Engagement

Last month these two enjoyed a beautiful evening in the National Cathedral Bishop’s Garden for their engagement photos in Washington D.C.! The National Cathedral is one of my favorites spots in the whole city. It combines iconic architecture with beautiful flowers and gardens–you feel like you are miles from the city. The days had just started to cool down, and it was a lovely late September evening. I love these gardens in particular because it has very similar romantic vibes to their wedding venue of Great Marsh Estate! The gardens are timeless, as is the Cathedral. The National Cathedral itself feels so grand, and then the surrounding archways and flowers are simply breathtaking. Ashley and Shaun, you two make a stunning couple and I enjoyed laughing with you both for an evening.

I also can’t believe your wedding is a whole year away! Ashley and Shaun tie the knot together later next year at the Great Marsh Estate. You two have a lifetime of beautiful adventures ahead. It was my absolute pleasure to capture these engagement photos for you to celebrate this special time in your lives together.
