Virginia Botanical Garden Engagement Portraits

Yesterday I had the pleasure of capturing one of the most joyful couples I have ever met. We captured these botanical garden engagement portraits at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. The forecast didn’t look promising earlier in the week, but we lucked out with the most beautiful Spring weather on this Saturday afternoon. From the moment I first met them, Jessica and Will were so easygoing! Will was cracking jokes the whole time and whispering sweet nothings (or something) into Jessica’s ear the whole time, so there were constant giggles and sweet exchanging looks. The result was they were being so cute I wasn’t even ready for it! They were so clearly into each other, it was just fun to be around their energy!

The champagne toast

I gotta tell ya, I love me a nice champagne toast. If you know me at all, you also know I’m a sucker for all things sentimental. Well, this cork was literally the cork from the bottle of champagne they opened when they first got engaged. I mean, how cute is that?! When Jessica asked if I could take a picture of the cork, the answer was absolutely. I had so much fun capturing the little details for their garden engagement portraits!
