Maternity Portraits in Virginia Beach

Yesterday I was lucky enough to capture these beautiful maternity portraits in Virginia Beach for this sweet family expecting their little boy in a few short weeks. The weather was so perfect that it was difficult to feel where my body ended and the beach breeze began. I know a special spot in the area where we met for these photos, and they loved it! Thomas and I will only be living in the Virginia Beach and Norfolk area for a few more months. So, any chance I can get to take more portraits on the beach is a win in my book. There is something about the soft blue and pink tones during golden hour on the beach that I really love.

Rena and Phil are so excited to welcome their baby boy into the world soon. I know Phil personally, and I am so excited for him! We’ve worked together for several years, and I know much he cares for his family. Meeting their daughter brought some extra smiles, too! I know she is going to be a great big sister. I can just picture her being protective over her little brother and teaching him so much about the world. I am so excited for these three! It’s going to be an excited time ahead.
