It’s that time of year for senior portraits! It’s not every day that the sun is streaming through the trees this perfectly on a 65 degree afternoon. This senior chose to have her senior portraits in Old Town Alexandria, and I was a big fan of her choice. When I sent her senior questionnaire, she mentioned she wanted to bring her dogs! I absolutely love photographing animals, and it was a such a fun addition to her session. You can feel all the love! She has grown up in Northern Virginia, so having her senior portraits in Old Town Alexandria with her dogs seemed like the perfect choice.
Personally, I love senior portrait sessions because it brings me back to that time in my life. I remember all the things I was excited for, my sense of wonder, but also how unsure of myself and my abilities I felt. It’s such a strange but thrilling time in your life. The world is your oyster! My goal during a senior portrait session is to make you feel as confident and beautiful as you are on your very best day. I want you to see yourself the way your grandmother sees you. That kind of beautiful. My wish for all the seniors this year is that you try new things, and learn something about yourself. You can do and be anything!
I’ve at least spent my high school years in Northern Virginia, so if you are a high school or college senior, I know all the spots! These Northern Virginia senior portraits in Old Town Alexandria were so beautiful and unique, and yours can be, too. Just fill out my contact form and we can schedule your senior portraits!
