Think of what a fun Friday night at home looks like. Now get ready to see this in home engagement session with cats and pizza, and prepare to want to have a date night of your own. When I met this couple over Zoom, they had told me that they had already had the traditional portraits done. They wanted to do something different, and I thought that made for an exciting challenge. Bridget and Stephen said they wanted to do their engagement session in their home with their two cats! If you don’t know me, I’m pretty obsessed with my own cat, and was excited to flex those creative muscles and try something new and fun.

This at home engagement session making pizza and hanging out with their cats is one of my favorites to date! I feel like this session perfectly fits these two high school sweethearts in this season of their life. When I think of home, I definitely think of curling up on the couch with some wine and my pets. Making pizza made for added fun for the in home date night! My goal was for these engagement portraits to be fun, relaxed, and a casual peek inside their lives. I think we achieved exactly that.
