Oatlands Engagement Portraits | Leesburg, VA

It’s difficult to describe how beautiful the grounds are at Oatlands Historic House. It is definitely one of the most beautiful, classic wedding venues in Virginia. That said, I think this gorgeous couple may have complimented the grounds more than the grounds complimented them! Basically, Annie and Eli are winners of the genetic lottery. That combined with their classic sense of style and location choice make these Oatlands engagement portraits some of my favorites.

Despite humidity that literally had my makeup melting off my face, these two looked flawless from head to toe. As for the grounds, from the elegance of the pond behind the gardens, to the front porch of the house itself, there were so many classic engagement portraits from this session. Annie and Eli were so comfortable in front of the camera, too! They were down for anything. It made my job so easy! Their relaxed energy and easy going enthusiasm made this evening so much fun. So, now I’m just counting down the days until their DC wedding next year!
